- Description: MODEL GDP665SYNOFS Washer starts and has a struggling sound. It then shuts itself off some minutes later. I cleaned the two filters and discharge hose (connected to disposal unit) I put the machine back on and the water in the base does not drain. The sound is that of a motor struggling. I don't know if it needs a new pump. It is just 4 years old this month.
